Level #1 Coach Course

2-way: Drill # 1 - Exit is to be free flown or non-linked. The coach is to take the front float position with the partner (acting student) taking the middle float position. The coach is to launch to attain aircraft heading beside the "student." Once presented the two are to face each other and the student is to dock. Following the dock the coach is to break and move backwards and downwards (15-20 feet back, 6-10 feet down) and stop giving student signal (thumbs up) to advance down and forward to dock. Following the dock the coach is to move up and back (15-20 feet back, 6-10 feet down) and stop once again giving the signal to student to advance. The student then moves up and forward to dock. Repeat the sequence to break-off.
